Why do OSU-UM tickets have to be so gosh darned expensive?  I just want a reasonably-priced one for my sister.  That being said - is anyone in the tumblr-verse looking to sell one?

I still can’t get over how great my school is.

it really bothers me how much people complain about osu switching to semesters.  yes, it screwed up our summer, but now we’re lined up with everyone else.  yes, we now have to be in classes for 15 weeks instead of 10, but didn’t we do that in high school?  don’t other students at other schools do that?  a lot of students here whine about how much work they have because they have to take one or two more classes per semester than they did for quarters or how all their midterms line up in the same week/weeks.  um hello that’s how it’s been for the past 100 years.  one of my professors told us that when the school admins were talking about the switch, they told the profs to keep their syllabuses and teaching plans the same (aka don’t add any more chapters to learn, etc) and just spread them over 15 weeks.  i for one can’t imagine trying to do this research paper that i have in that same anthro class on a 10 week schedule.  maybe other programs have really changed their class times but mine are all around the same times they have been for the past two years.  so what i’m saying is the only annoyance that semesters have brought to me is that i have to sit through my hunters and gatherers class for 15 weeks instead of 10.
